§ 28-10. Grass and weeds to be cut.

  • It shall be the duty of the owner, or any person in actual or constructive possession or control of or in charge of any real property located within the limits of the town to prevent any substantial growth of grass or weeds to more than 12 inches from the ground in height or length and to cut or mow the grass or weeds on such property so as to prevent such growth from exceeding 12 inches. This section shall not be construed to mean that weeds less than 12 inches in length or height cannot constitute a weed nuisance as defined and prohibited elsewhere in this chapter.
