§ 44-26. Trailer park billing.

Latest version.
  • There shall be only two methods of billing by the town for water services provided to trailer parks within the corporate limits of the town. One method of billing is that the person, firm or corporation owning the trailer park will be provided with a single monthly bill covering the total charges for water services to the entire trailer park. This method requires the use of one commercial water meter for the entire trailer park. The other method of billing by the town for water services provided to trailer parks within the corporate limits of the town is that each occupant of a lot in the trailer park will be billed on an individual basis. This method requires that each lot have its own separate water meter to measure the water usage by the occupant of that particular lot. Any person, firm or corporation owning a trailer park located in the town shall use one method entirely to the exclusion of the other method. The owner thereof shall cooperate with the town in the meeting of the requirements as to water meter usage.
