§ 28-12. Responsibility of owner or person in charge of premises for sidewalks and alleys.

(a)

The owner, or any person in actual or constructive possession or control of or in charge of any real property located within the limits of the town whose property faces on any municipal sidewalk or strip between streets and sidewalks shall be responsible for keeping those sidewalks and strips free of nuisances or violations under the provisions of this chapter.

(b)

The owner, or any person in actual or constructive possession or control of or in charge of any real property located within the limits of the town whose property faces on any municipal alley shall be responsible for keeping the area from such property to the centerline of the alley free of nuisances or violations under the provisions of this chapter.
